This Summer, campers will have the option to join Discovery or Intensive classes. Discovery classes are for students who are beginners or who want to try new programs while Intensive classes are for students who are exprienced or advanced in their field. Lunch is available for $40/week. If you need transportation for your child, Zum is available at discounted rates. *Classes are subject to change. Please check often or call for more information*

    AFTERNOON SESSIONS

    Concierge LV Camp: Tailor fit a program! Campers will join the Concierge Lyceum Village Membership classes and experience a variety of academic, artistic, and athletic classes according to parent requests, child age/level, and scheduling availability.

    Academics – Mathematics, Cotillion, Chess, and Rubik's cube.

    Arts – Painting, arts & crafts, and beginner music classes. Experienced music students can have proctored music practice.

    Athletics – Students can attend ongoing athletics classes in basketball, futsal, volleyball, karate, rhythmic gymnastics, and/or sports training to discover more about these programs.

    Kids and experiments attract! In this 5-day course, 3rd through 5th students will discover the amazing world of chemistry through hands-on laboratory experiments. Campers will have an explosive reaction as they discover about metals, atoms, elements, liquids, solids, and gasses, and why things react the way they do!
    Build a strong foundation of critical thinking, creativity, and sportsmanship to last a lifetime! Whether you are a skilled chess player or a beginner interested in the game, campers are sure to gain additional skills after a week of Fundamental Chess Academy.
    This class is for youngsters, ages 5-12, interested in the fundamental programming concepts. It includes algorithm design, command sequences and control flow, conditionals, loops, sensors, and events through creative problem solving. Students will learn to work in teams to engineer a solution for a final competition!
    Have you outgrown computer science camps offered to kids at other camps? Lyceum Village provides the highest-level computer science experiences by a top CS programmers in the industry. Sign-up for Computer Science during camp and be challenged!
    World Cube Association Speedcubers Guanda Fu and Thomas Valles, will teach you tricks on how to solve the 3x3 Rubik’s Cube faster than you ever thought possible. If you don’t know how to solve the cube yet, don’t worry! This class is the perfect place to learn.

    Descriptions of Art Programs

    Learn to create fun, expressive and colorful characters. With some imagination and drawing principles of dimension, perspective, shading, and blending, students will learn to bring characters to life!
    Exploration of drawing with pencils and charcoal, learning perspective, proportions, and shading along the way. It will advance to the study of color using pastels and watercolor paints. The kids will host an art show the final day, The Pageant of the Little Masters, to exhibit their work.
    Kindergarteners through 2nd grade children will develop a love for music through a series of fun and interactive experiences including singing familiar and new melodies, playing rhythmic games, and trying out different instruments for the first time.
    3rd through 6th grades students can be introduced to a variety of different instruments. Discover how each of them sound and feel. Camp at Lyceum Village is a perfect place to learn how to play a new instrument, and even learn how to read notes for your instrument!

    Music high-achievers can have a balanced and fun spring break through this unique camp offering. It’s designed for advanced students of music preparing for competitions, performances, high-level audition recording, or just for those wanting to get ahead during spring break. Students can reserve music rooms and utilize proctors for serious practice. After a block of practice, schedule a break and participate in one of our fun activities to refresh and re-energize for the next practice session! \ Performance opportunities during the camp are also available for music performer’s run-throughs. (Master lessons may also be arranged at the camp through your private instructor’s discretion)

    Everything a beginner basketball player needs to learn the basics. This class is offered by the PF Hoops alternating with athletic training by Athletic Republic of Orange County.
    Campers will learn the fundamental and rhythmic gymnastics skills in this camp. Develop gross motor skills, strength, flexibility, attention span, and listening skills. Fun and colorful apparatus such as ribbons, balls, hoops, bean bags are used along with music during workout. Classes alternate with Athletic Republic of Orange County for athletic training.
    Learn how to play volleyball! Volleyball for beginners is offered the campers to participate in. Classes alternate with Athletic Republic of Orange County for athletic training.
